" Differential diagnosis and control strategy of mycotoxin glandular gastritis in poultry"

Professor Bi Yingzuo
South China Agricultural University

1. Definition of mycotoxin glandular gastritis
A typical pathological change of mycotoxin poisoning caused by mycotoxin as the primary or the most important inducing factor is not only glandular gastritis, but also other pathological changes.

2. The main culprit of fowl glandular gastritis
Vomitoxin, T-2 toxin.

3. Characteristics
The disease most likely to occur in large white broilers (such as fast AA chicken, 817), at the age of 1-60 days, the coastal areas (Guangdong, Shanxi, Fujian, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, etc.) the incidence of serious, the fatality rate of 20% - 90%.

4. The main causes of the disease in one-day-old chickens
Feed mycotoxins are absorbed from the intestine and transmitted to the ovaries after feeding by breeding chickens. Finally, they enter the chicken embryos through the eggs.

5. Preventive measures
Strictly select and purchase feed raw materials. Choose high-quality maize, raw materials, especially poultry and egg poultry. Raw materials as fresh and dry as possible.
Prevention and control of feed mildew. Feed material moisture control, avoid skin or shell damage as far as possible, crushed grains should be removed by screening, improve storage conditions, feed added chemical mildew inhibitors, mildew-proof packaging.
Special attention should be paid to the addition of fungicides to feed. Mycotoxins can be transmitted to the next generation through eggs, and fungicides should be added to feed for poultry and chickens.
Change the feeding mode, divide the feeding into several times, and eliminate the one-time feeding mode.
Strengthen the management of water tank and water line, clean in time to avoid contamination by mycotoxin.
Addition of yeast cell wall showed that yeast cell wall could selectively adsorb mycotoxin without affecting the absorption of other nutrients.
Treatment and improvement measures: fish liver oil and vitamin C to repair gastric cuticle ulcer, the use of liver-protecting and Kidney-Protecting herbal granules, detoxification, appropriate use of antibiotics to eliminate gastrointestinal inflammation.
It is worth noting that mycotoxin poisoning can not only cause glandular gastritis in poultry, but also directly damage intestinal villi and affect the digestion and absorption of nutrients. Fatty acids in mouldy feed are easily oxidized to free radicals, while reducing other nutrient contents, suggesting the need to add yeast selenium for mycotoxin control.

" Requirements of feed enterprises for corn quality"

Guo Jiyuan
Quality control experts from New Hope

1. Quality problems of aged maize
Decreased energy, poor palatability, and oxidized fat.
The oxidation of germ oil and the increase of starch denaturation and indigestible starch.
Mildew problem-mycotoxin pollution and excess standard.

2. Problems in evaluation methods of mycotoxin adsorbents
Conventional evaluation method is divorced from the actual situation, the adsorption effect is enlarged, and the data is unreliable. Sixth, the self-built bionic adsorption separation evaluation method is more reasonable, and most of the high-valent defatters and montmorillonites are detected with little difference.

"Preparing technology of high density cage poultry feed"

Professor Yuan Jianmin
China Agricultural University

1. High density cage can lead to physiological characteristics of broilers: decrease of pectoral muscle, decrease of muscular stomach and increase of glandular stomach.

2. High density captivity can lead to changes in broiler performance: average daily gain/average daily feed intake at 5 and 6 weeks of age decreases.

3. High density caged chicken meat quality changes: lower pectoral muscle rate, lower pectoral muscle fat rate, increased drip loss, reduced wings, increased foot rate of broilers.

4. Nutrition technology solutions to the negative impact of high-density cage culture are as follows:
Increasing the level of methionine and choosing a reasonable source of methionine: dietary methionine content is more than 0.15%, methionine hydroxyl analogue is better than DL-methionine.
Increase Tryptophan Level: Dietary Tryptophan content is 0.48%, broiler production performance is significantly higher than 0.18% Tryptophan level, and improve broiler meat quality.
Improvement of fiber level: It is suggested that the reasonable dietary fiber level of white feather broilers be 5% at 0-10 days, 7.0% at 10-21 days, 7.0% at 21-35 days and 7.0% after 35 days.

Poultry intestinal development and growth promotion solutions
GroPro Poultry

The addition of chickens is 1%. Reduce intestinal problems such as chicken white stool caused by fish meal not fresh, improve digestion and absorption, promote growth, lay the foundation for follow-up growth, reduce dead cleaning, reduce the cost of medication.
The addition of medium and large chickens is 0.1%. Promoting growth, reducing feed ratio, fast fattening and improving survival.

Poultry alternative antibiotics solution
YeaSense

Feed that can't use antibiotics: bacteriostasis and growth promotion
Feeds that can use antibiotics: reducing or replacing antibiotics
Broiler: 200-500 g/t, instead of growth-promoting antibiotics
Layer and breeder: 200-500 g/t to improve the health status of breeding poultry

Intestinal flora control program in poultry
YeaVita

Layer: 100-300g/t
Regulate intestinal flora and inhibit the reproduction of E. coli and Clostridium perfringens.
Improving intestinal health and improving fecal formability.
Reduce water sample stool, increase dry matter of eggs and avoid thinning of eggs.
Promote digestion and increase egg weight.
Purify intestinal tract, reduce the rate of dirty eggs and improve gloss.
