Beginning a Career at Angel Yeast During  the Pandemic

In 2021, during the global COVID-19 pandemic, Muhammad Ahmad, an employee from Pakistan, joined China’s leading yeast company, Angel Yeast. Although he couldn’t attend an in-person interview or visit the headquarters, the new role filled him with excitement and responsibility. Reflecting on this period, he said, “The challenges of the pandemic and the new job were daunting, but my team and leadership provided immense support and confidence.”

Team Support Driving Professional Growth

“Every day, my managers and team members reached out to check on me, offering solutions to any challenges I faced. Their attention helped me adapt quickly.” After the pandemic, headquarters leadership and colleagues began visiting Pakistan, giving him more opportunities to connect and learn. He also participated in various company training programs and started self-learning social media management in 2023.

These additional skills significantly enhanced his expertise, leading to an invitation from the president of the University of Management and Technology (UMT) in Pakistan to be a guest speaker. “The knowledge and experience I gained at Angel Yeast have not only influenced our clients in Pakistan but also inspired many university students through my talk,” he shared.

Breaking New Ground Expanding in Pakistan

Despite Angel Yeast’s high-quality products offering a competitive edge, Muhammad faced several challenges. “At the beginning, the complexity of new clients’ inquiries and the task of boosting market share through marketing were overwhelming.”

While exploring the market, Muhammad successfully expanded Angel Yeast’s presence by acquiring new clients in northern Pakistan, strengthening its foothold in the bakery, seasoning, and animal feed sectors. “We’ve introduced nearly all of Angel’s baking products to the Pakistani market, and in 2024, we partnered with local manufacturers to further grow our market share,” he stated confidently.

Career Growth Backed by Angel’s Support

Over time, Muhammad mastered client negotiations and developed more advanced marketing skills. He expressed gratitude for Angel Yeast’s continuous support, which allowed him to fully dedicate himself to his role. “Throughout my career, my colleagues and leaders have played an essential part.”

In 2023, he made his first visit to the company’s headquarters in China, which deepened his understanding of the company. Additionally, in 2024, he attended a training program for expatriates, reinforcing his commitment to long-term growth with Angel Yeast. “The company has always respected me and kept me aligned with the latest industry trends. Whether business results exceed expectations or fall short, I’ve never received negative feedback. Instead, the company continues to inspire and motivate me.”

Muhammad has found that Angel Yeast’s management style aligns closely with his values. This helps him strengthen his belief that he is on a promising career path filled with hope and opportunities.
