240 1-day-old New-born yellow feather broilers were randomly divided into 4 treatment groups with 6 replicates per treatment and 10 chickens per replica. The control group (4% Enramycin) was added with Enramycin 250 g / t, and the test group was treated with YeaSense 250 g / t、500 g / t、1000 g / t. The growth performance of each treatment group was compared. In view of the effect of substitution of enramycin, the dosage of YeaSense suggested 250g/t.
1 Experimental design
240 1-day-old New-born yellow feather broilers were randomly divided into 4 treatment groups, each treated with 6 replicates, 10 chickens per replica. The formula of basic diet is referred to NY/T 33-2004. The corn-soybean meal diet is adopted.
Table 1 Experimental design
number | diet |
A | basic diet +250g/t Enramycin(4%) |
B | basic diet +250g/t YeaSense |
C | basic diet +500g/t YeaSense |
D | basic diet +1000g/t YeaSense |
2 Feeding and management
During the experiment, the feeding and management were carried out according to the routine: cage feeding, free feeding and drinking water. The henhouse temperature was controlled at 32 ℃ -35 ℃ at 1 week old, 29 ℃ -32 ℃ at 2 weeks of age at 65 -75 ℃, and 60 -70 ℃ at 60 ~ 70 ℃. The age of 3 weeks was 26 ℃ -29 ℃, the humidity of 55-60 ℃ was controlled at room temperature for 4 weeks, and the drug health care was done in 1-3 days to prevent Escherichia coli and Salmonella.
3 Test methods and indicators
Record weight, feed intake, FCR
4 Statistical analysis
All data were sorted by excel 2010 after the initial order and analysed using SPSS 21.0 (2015, IBM-SPSS Inc., Chicago, Illinois, USA). Variability of all the data was expressed as standard error of the mean (SEM). Differences between mean values were compared using independent samples T-test, and considered significant at P < 0.05. Trends were identified when 0.05 < P < 0.10.
5 Result
Table 2 Effect of YeaSense replace Enramycin on weight of broliers at 42d (g)
42d weight(g) | 1-42d ADG(g/d) | 1-42d ADFI(g/d) | 1-42d FCR | |
A | 959.77±48.90ab | 22.85±2.33ab | 49.13±6.26 | 2.15±0.10 |
B | 958.28±50.69ab | 21.07±2.41ab | 45.72±4.77 | 2.17±0.02 |
C | 965.68±17.65ab | 22.99±0.84ab | 49.20±5.27 | 2.14±0.12 |
D | 1003.52±47.14b | 23.89±3.97b | 51.12±8.32 | 2.14±0.10 |
Note:In this experiment, the feed is powdered, so the feed intake and daily gain are lower than those of granular feed. a,b Within a column, means with different superscript letters are different (P < 0.05).
6 Conclusion
In view of the effect of substitution of Enramycin, YeaSense suggested that 250g/t should be added.
