The “Craft Beer, Artisan Brewing” Technical Exchange Conference was successfully concluded

On May 23, 2018, the “Craft Beer, Artisan Brewing” Technical Exchange Conference was successfully held at China-Germany Beer College. The meeting attracted the participants of more than 80 brewers from dozen provinces and cities across the country. Du Weili, deputy director of the Angel Research Center, led the team to the conference.

The technical exchange meeting was hosted by Wuhan China-Germany Beer Academy, jointly sponsored by Angel Yeast and Old Craftsman Technology Co., Ltd. The China-Germany Beer Academy is a secondary school of Hubei Light Industry Vocational Technology College and enjoys the reputation of “Huangpu Military Academy” in the beer industry. Angel Yeast National Wine Rating Committee and National First Class Wine Expert XuYinhu explained to the guests the development history of Angel and the production and application of beer active dry yeast. DeBo Tao, Dean of the China-Germany Beer Academy, Chief of Bright Yeast, Canada Expert Dr. John, Senior Engineer of Guangzhou Yongshun Tai Liu Jianxun made a special report on the management and control of craft beer, the effect of H2S on the sensory quality of beer, the identification of malt quality and the selection and application of specialty malt, and the sensory products during the conference. The sensory tasting and sweepstakes activities during the conference even pushed the atmosphere to a climax. The organization of the conference and the content of the report were highly valued by the participants.
