Angel has been advancing in promoting the production and application of fuel ethanol
On September 13th, 2017, 15 government ministries and commissions including NDRC，NEC and Ministry of Finance jointly issued document titled “Implementation plan regarding expanding biofuel ethanol production and promoting utilization of ethanol gasoline ”, which proposes ethanol gasoline reaches basic national full-coverage by the year of 2020, and strive to achieve mass production of cellulosic ethanol by 2025. It means, in just three years, the annual production volume of fuel ethanol need to increase from the current 2.58 to 10 million tons.
There is such a huge demand in the market, so first of all, we need to look at the current production technology of fuel ethanol. At present, they mainly have three production technologies of fuel ethanol in China, with three different raw materials, corn, cassava and cellulose. In these three technologies, corn ethanol production is stable and mature, but the cellulose ethanol production is very difficult which still in the pilot stage.
There have High-concentration Mash Fermentation Techniques; SSF(simultaneous saccharification and fermentation)、the yeast culture and control technology and reducing sugar technology in the process of fermentation.

At present, we have done a lot of researches on the production technology of fuel ethanol. The first is the research of high performance yeast, including strain selection, tolerance, fermentation efficiency in different sugar concentration, production technology of dry yeast, Yeast application and so on.
Currently we use different methods such as mutagenesis 、molecular biology -gene transformation method to get some yeast that have other functions, such as （GA yeast）Saccharifying Saccharomyces cerevisiae, cellulosic yeast, Detox yeast and so on, and to carry out a series of technical research.
Besides of the yeast, we also mainly studied the nutrition of yeast. According to the nutritional requirements of yeast in fermentation with different raw materials, our nutritional products can ensure the fermentation efficiency, when yeast nutrition is insufficient in fermentation.
The research of bacteriostatic agents, some plants usually face the Bacterial contamination, due to the temperature control in domestic factories are relatively backward. Especially in summer, it’s easy to bacterial contamination. Generally speaking, common methods are reducing pH and adding penicillin to inhibit bacteria in China, but sometimes bacterial contamination remains because antibiotics tend to develop resistance over time. Therefore, we are selected more natural and safe bacteriostatic agents. When it used in a factory, it can reduce the amount of sulphuric acid to cut down the environmental pressure.
Except to create these products, our research focuses on the application of concentrated mash fermentation, which includes the matching process of yeast, nutrition, bacteriostatic and production technology. It can eventually provide a safe, efficient and environmentally friendly full range of applications, and truly achieve High-concentration Mash Fermentation to achieve the ultimate level of fermentation.
