 “I’m primarily responsible for the current operations and future planning of the Baking and Pastry Sales Department, which includes promoting a variety of products like yeast, food ingredients, and sweeteners.”

 This year witnesses Gong’s 15th year at Angel Yeast, a journey marked by his steadfast determination and leadership in driving exceptional sales performance and advancing the company’s baking and pastry business.

 

A Career Shaped by Angel Yeast

Gong’s career began with sales training at Angel Yeast. Through hard work, he advanced from managing a small area to becoming the Regional Manager of the Lanzhou Sales Department. “I chose Angel Yeast because of its comprehensive training system and fair promotion channels, which allow employees to grow in an environment that values development,” he says. As the Regional Manager, Gong oversees the sales operations in the Northwest region of China, where traditional fermentation methods are still prevalent. “By promoting yeast, we are advocating for a healthier, more nutritious lifestyle,” he explains, embodying Angel Yeast’s mission to promote healthy living.

Discussing the work culture at Angel Yeast, Gong notes, “The culture here is positive, open, and people-oriented, which fully unleashes individual talents.” In such an environment, his team has successfully carried out multiple anti-counterfeiting campaigns, leveraging each member’s expertise through close collaboration. “Teamwork is crucial in sales; only through effective collaboration can we achieve the best results,” he emphasizes. This positive work environment allows the team to rally and face challenges head-on.

 

Strategic Market and Brand Growth

In market analysis and strategy formulation, Gong’s team always prioritizes brand building, steering clear of price wars. “We believe that Angel Yeast products are top-tier, so it’s important to design profit margins that ensure sustainable development,” he states. Under this strategic direction, his sales team successfully focused on the Northwest soda ash market in 2024, achieving a remarkable 73% growth in sales. This accomplishment not only highlights the team’s exceptional capabilities and market competitiveness but also strengthens the foundation for Angel Yeast’s continued growth.

 

Rising to Challenges Together

Gong and his team have faced numerous challenges, with altitude sickness leaving a lasting impression. “We aim to succeed in the Qinghai and Xizang markets by overcoming challenges, which will give us a unique competitive advantage,” he asserts. Despite the physical limits, Gong knows that mental strength and courage are key to overcoming difficulties. Leading by example, he remains focused on critical issues, personally engaging with key clients, and guiding his team through adversity. Thanks to his relentless efforts, the team ultimately achieved a hard-won positive growth.
