On April 16, the 2022 Ramadan Charity Event jointly organized by the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Egypt and the Egyptian Charity Association for Common Development was held in Cairo. Representatives of Angel Egypt attended the event and donated Ramadan charity gift boxes worth EGP 20,000.

Liao Liqiang, Chinese Ambassador to Egypt, Ahmed, Egyptian Deputy Minister of Social Solidarity, Hanaa Ismail, head of the Egyptian Society for Integrated Development, Tariq, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Al-Ahram, and other guests from China and Egypt attended the event. Nearly 100 people including representatives of Chinese enterprises in Egypt and Chinese and Egyptian media staff participated in the event.

Since the first Ramadan Charity Event held by the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Egypt in 2015, Angel has participated in the event for 8 consecutive years and donated Ramadan gift boxes worth EGP 160,000 to local poor families caused by illness and children living in poverty.

Liao Liqiang said: "The Ramadan gift boxes are well prepared and contain a lot of supplies, all of which are needed by friends in difficult families in Egypt, and it is very heartwarming. I would like to pay high tribute to every friend from China and Egypt who participates in this event."
