Creative Baking Carnival for College Students of Hubei Province came to its final at Angel Wuhan headquarters from Aug 31 to Sep 1, 2023. And together with COFCO, Today, Kengee, 7N5J Baking and Huazhong Agricultural University, Angel joined the event to support the student players.

The carnival, starting at this March, has attracted 73 baking works from 21 universities. After layer by layer selection, there are 26 creations reaching the final. The competition aims to find talents for food innovation, and encourage college students of Food Science and related majors and interested in baking to innovate whole grain baking products and promote the diverse and healthy diet.

For two days, as the main judge, Liao Jinzhong, Deputy Director of Angel Baking and Food Innovation Technical Center, guided the players and commended their passions and creative idea. He stated that nature of baking is hands-on perception, relating with food materials, technique, soul and inspiration. And Liao encouraged students to pay attention to the food’s texture and appearance rather than pursuing delicacy only, and he told them practicing actively is key to skill promotion.

On the site of the competition, Angel offered several series of products to support and displayed businesses and feature products of its subsidiaries. Thus, students and other corporates learned Angel's extension of industrial chain and diverse development of products.

Xu Xiaoyun, Dean of the School of Food Science and Technology at Huazhong Agricultural University, expressed Angel provided a platform for teenagers to showcase their talents. The carnival consolidated innovative strength of teenagers and brought new idea and inspiration to the baking industry.
