Recently, a new successful green production base of Angel Yeast in Xiaoting District, Yichang City, has been set up, which has more than ten sets of MVR system evaporation equipment, dedicated to high concentration wastewater treatment. Wastewater entering the MVR equipment will pass the process of heat-exchange, distillation and condensation. And the negative pressure steam of different temperatures will be utilized in a graded and efficient way to concentrate the organic matter to make organic fertilizers to realize the recycling of fermented wastewater.

Through technological innovation, Angel has improved the cleanliness and environmental protection of its production process and taken the lead in establishing several green intelligent factories for yeast production in the industry. Continuously promoting energy-saving and emission reduction technology improvement projects, Angel has developed 28 factories in 2021 alone, achieving a reduction of 19,700 tons of carbon dioxide. In addition, Angel has invested more than 1 billion yuan to solve the world-wide problem of “yeast organic wastewater treatment” and developed yeast metabolites to help farmers solve the problems of soil acidification, soil caking and fertility reduction.
