On March 22, the construction of the Baiyang Biotechnology Park project of Angel Group, with a total investment of 5 billion yuan, was started. After being fully completed and put into production, it will become the most advanced production base of Angel Group.

The company's leader in Yichang, employees from the Yichang factory, and park factories participated in the opening ceremony.

The project covers an area of 1,000 acres, and the first stage is planned to be gradually completed and put into operation in June 2024. The main construction includes a high nucleic acid yeast extract production line, a special yeast production line, and the main products include high nucleotides, ribonucleic acid, yeast protein, etc. It also includes the construction of a hydrolyzed sugar production line with supporting facilities such as grain storage, research and development center, and environmental protection treatment. The second stage plans to develop a biological synthesis and platform chemical project, planning for high serine, β-farnesene, and bio-based new materials.

In the Grain Storage Yichang Retreat into Port project near the Baiyang Biotechnology Park, the Hubei branch of Grain Storage will support Angel Group's participation in the local rotation grain supply public tender, prioritize raw material procurement needs, and work with Angel Group to build the largest grain processing and distribution center in the Yangtze River Basin.

In the past three years, new food material factories in Wujiagang District and new yeast factories in Xiaoting District have been completed and put into production.
