The synthetic biology laboratory of Angel Green Materials and Environmental Protection Technology Center is located on the second floor of the R&D center of the research and development complex, equipped with commonly used molecular biology experimental equipment such as a microbial growth curve analyzer, PCR instrument, and ultra clean workbench.

The research team in the lab consists of 2 doctors and 6 masters, mainly focusing on creating microbial cell factories for synthesizing high value-added chemicals, exploring and modifying key components of synthesis pathways. Currently, experiments have been conducted on the construction of E. coli engineering strains, adaptive evolution of chassis cells, and excavation and modification of key components.

Green biological manufacturing based on synthetic biology is an important way to achieve carbon reduction and carbon neutrality. Synthetic biological manufacturing using renewable biomass as raw materials has significant strategic significance in breaking through the bottleneck of traditional petrochemical raw materials and achieving sustainable human development.

Building an efficient microbial cell factory for biosynthesis and exploring green manufacturing methods for bulk chemicals further enhance the company's biotechnology innovation capabilities and provide new engines for the future development of biotech industry.
