Recently, Angel Yeast announced that its new food ingredient, Rich Glutathione Yeast, has been officially approved by China's National Health Commission (NHC) to be classified as a common food ingredient.

As the second new food ingredient application submitted by the company, the process began in 2023, during which the Technology Quality Department collaborated with the Industrial Microbiology and Brewing Technology Center and the Protein Nutrition and Seasoning Technology Center to conduct extensive experiments and a thorough food safety risk assessment. Following a comprehensive evaluation, the National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment decided to terminate further review, allowing for management as a common food ingredient. With this approval, Rich Glutathione Yeast is now recognized with a legal "identity," marking a significant addition to the company's food ingredient offerings.

Rich Glutathione Yeast is rich in natural glutathione, providing antioxidant properties and enhancing flavor, as well as preserving food color. It is widely utilized in sectors such as nutrition and health, seasoning, and wine production, offering consumers a more natural, healthy, and nutritious option. Moreover, this ingredient injects new vitality into the yeast processing product industry.
