On October 22, Yicha Group officially commissioned its new 1,000-ton-per-year clean matcha production line. The facility is located in the commercial processing workshop of Xiaoshi Tea in Yiling District. Using tencha as its core raw material, the line boasts a daily tencha processing capacity of over 3 metric tons. Through ultra-fine grinding, it produces uniformly fine, micron-grade matcha powder in a fully automated and hygienic process.

The commissioning of this production line is designed to enrich the Angel Yeast food ingredient portfolio in the tea sector. It will empower Yicha Group to establish an independent and controllable supply of matcha raw materials, continuously enhance the competitiveness of its self-manufactured products, and further expand its market space in applications such as baking, food service, and new tea beverages.

The production line meets various matcha standards, including Chinese national and EU standards. It optimizes processing parameters for key indicators such as greenness, particle size, and microbial control. The fully automated and hygienic process incorporates flash heat sterilization (preserving color and aroma), low-speed flexible grinding, and continuous high-speed mass production, ensuring product safety and consistent quality.

With an annual output of 1,000 metric tons and a daily tencha processing capacity exceeding 3 metric tons, the line supports continuous, high-speed mass production, providing reliable capacity support for customers in baking, food service, and new tea beverage sectors.

Initial trial samples delivered to clients demonstrated strong performance in key indicators such as greenness and fineness, earning customer approval. The production line accommodates both high-end customization and large-scale manufacturing, enabling tailored product development for diverse client needs.

Built to Angel's rigorous food manufacturing standards, the line features a proprietary automatic discharge device currently in the patent application phase. The project team completed feasibility studies and equipment inspections, with the ball mill equipment arriving ahead of schedule in June. Following construction in August, multiple departments collaborated to meet the "October production" milestone, delivering the project on time in just over two months, which underscores the company's mature quality control and standardized management systems.

The new line completes key deep-processing stages, including tencha refining and hygienic matcha grinding, further enhancing the company's integrated production layout. It also drives the intelligent transformation of the workshop's operating model, creating significant room for full-capacity production, market expansion, and smart operations, while offering international clients broader sourcing options for tea ingredients.

With the commissioning of this production line, Yicha Group is accelerating its transformation into a supplier of food-grade tea ingredients.
