Recently, the results of the 6th AVPA (Paris) World Tea International Competition in 2023 were announced, and Yichang Tea Group's 10 tea samples submitted by the European Division for the first time achieved outstanding results with 1 gold award, 2 silver awards, 2 bronze awards, and 3 honorable mentions. The award-winning teas include categories such as black tea, green tea, yellow tea, and herbal tea, covering brands like Yihong Gongfu Tea - Yihong Discovery 1955, Yihong Gongfu Tea - Yi Yun, Baoshunhe, Luyuan Gong Tea, and Zhaojun. Notably, Yihong Gongfu Tea - Yihong Discovery 1955 won the gold award.

Founded in 2005, the AVPA (Agence pour la Valorisation des Produits Agricoles) in France is a non-profit organization composed mainly of producers and industry experts. With long-term connections to over 10,000 producers in 50 countries, it focuses on developing agricultural products, with tea being one of its key areas. The AVPA organizes this competition to enhance industry and market awareness of the value of tea and herbal infusions. In this competition, over a hundred products from tea-producing countries such as China, India, and Sri Lanka participated, with 37 gold awards available.

Represented by "Yihong Gongfu Tea - Yihong Discovery 1955," the premium teas developed by Yichang Tea Group in the black tea category stand out for their orchid fragrance, rich flavor, and distinctive characteristics of "amber gold soup, honeyed fruity sweetness." Additionally, the newly formulated Lemongrass Peppermint Green Tea won a silver award, laying the foundation for Yichang Tea Group's herbal tea category to enter the European market.

Maintaining close ties with the European Division, Yichang Tea Group's Tea Technology Center analyzed the personalized aroma and taste preferences of the French market. The team carefully selected high-quality premium teas from Yichang City and the unique Gardenia Tea, submitting the tea samples and competition materials to the European Division in late July. After more than three months of rigorous selection, they emerged victorious with excellent results.

The competition further strengthens Yichang Tea Group's confidence in leading and driving outstanding local tea enterprises and tea brands to "go global." Yichang Tea Group will seize this opportunity to collaborate with the Overseas Division, deepen its presence in the international market, and share the excellence of Yichang's fine teas with the world.
