Recently, Angel Nutritech's selenium-enriched yeast middle-aged milk powder has successfully obtained the low-GI food certification from the Global Green Alliance (Beijing) Food Safety Certification Center.

Low-GI (Glycemic Index) food refers to food containing available carbohydrates with a GI value lower than 55, suitable for people who need to control blood sugar and weight.

The expert panel conducted a stringent assessment based on the "Low-GI Food Certification Implementation Rules," which included low-GI human body experiments, on-site audits, and evaluations of management policies, supply chain management, human resources, technical quality, production process control, and product storage. Following the GI human body experiments, the GI value of the selenium-enriched yeast middle-aged milk powder was determined to be 37, classifying it as a low-GI food.

Ultimately, the expert panel deemed that Nutritech's quality management system operates effectively, and the factory meets the requirements for low-GI food certification, thus granting its approval.

Following the yeast protein powder, the selenium-enriched yeast middle-aged milk powder is the second low-GI certified product introduced by Angel Nutritech, contributing to further shaping a safer, more nutritious, and sustainable future.
