From November 3rd to 5th, Angel provided a new direction for "serum replacement" in cell culture at the 15th Academic Annual Conference of CSBT and the 2023 National Biotechnology Conference.
Dr. Wu Yexu, Deputy General Manager of the Protein Nutrition and Seasoning Technology Center of Angel, delivered a presentation titled Optimization and Customized Development Strategy for High-Density Animal Cell Culture Protein Hydrolysates. The report focused on the selection and optimization of protein hydrolysates in high-density cell culture processes for cells such as BHK, HEK293, VERO, CHO. Successful case studies were highlighted, demonstrating increased cell culture growth density, recombinant protein, and vaccine production levels. This offered a new direction for "serum replacement" in cell culture.
Angel's Microbial Nutrition Division set up a special booth, showcasing specialized products for cell culture, including hydrolyzed yeast, yeast peptone, and yeast powder for antibiotic-specific culture media. Attendees visited Angel's booth to inquire about products and application solutions, receiving samples.
