From July 4th to 5th, the 6th International Probiotics and Prebiotics Science Conference, hosted by the Probiotics and Prebiotics Branch of the Chinese Nutrition Society, took place at the Nanchang International Expo Center. Angel was invited to participate in the event.
The conference aimed to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and advancements in the field of probiotics, prebiotics, and human health. It focused on addressing key issues of interest to both industry professionals and consumers, while also exploring the latest research findings and development directions within the probiotics and prebiotics industry. During the event, the Microbial Nutrition Division, Angel Biotechnology Company, and Angel Nutritech showcased their new products and application solutions under the theme "Cultivate, Produce, and Utilize Good Microbes."
In the presentation sessions, Mr. Li Xiao, Chief Engineer of Angel Biotechnology Company, delivered a report on "Exploitation and Industrialization Research of High-Altitude Probiotic Germplasm Resources," providing detailed insights into Angel's progress in the exploration, industrialization, and development layout of high-altitude probiotic germplasm resources on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. He also shared specific industry products and application solutions for high-altitude probiotics, highlighting Angel's dedication to the unique microbial resources of high plateaus and their strategic significance for sustainable development and protection of plateau microbial germplasm resources in China.
Ms. Chen Zhixian, Deputy General Manager of the Nutrition and Health Technology Center, presented her report on "Scientific Research on the Intestinal Health of Yeast Bld-3," showcasing 5 research results that fully demonstrated the beneficial effects of active and inactivated yeast Bld-3 on improving intestinal mucosal status, inhibiting intestinal inflammation, regulating intestinal flora, and reducing diarrhea duration. This evidence-based presentation emphasized Angel's solid achievements in foundational research on functional food ingredients.
Outside the conference halls, the Microbial Nutrition Division and Angel Nutritech set up special exhibition booths. The Microbial Nutrition Division showcased specialized organic nitrogen sources for probiotic cultivation and freeze-dried protective application materials from yeast and plant origins, drawing more than 150 research experts and industry R&D personnel to exchange ideas and request experimental samples. Nutritech introduced new products such as the subspecies Bi66 of animal bifidobacteria, the P16 strain of plant lactobacillus, the LA15 strain of acidophilus, as well as AllergiBy yeast postbiotics, demonstrating Angel's exclusive "Human Nutrition and Health Exhibition Zone" with a diverse product matrix.
