Enhancing Dairy Cow Nutrition: Exploring the Benefits of Yeast Hydrolysate GroPro

In recent years, milk has become an important source of protein on the dinner table. If you want to get good milk, you must first pay attention to the health of dairy cows. The rumen of ruminants is an important node linking the external environment and the internal environment, and it is also an important engine for milk production of dairy cows. A healthy rumen will bring healthy dairy cows that continue to produce milk.

Existing studies have shown that yeast hydrolysates can enhance the fermentation ability of rumen flora, improve rumen health and enhance immunity of ruminants, promote cell regeneration and repair, and contain flavor enhancers (inosinic acid and guanosine monophosphate, etc.). It can promote feed intake and increase milk yield of dairy cows.

1. What is GroPro?

GroPro is a pure culture yeast hydrolysate of Angel yeast. It has the characteristics of stable product quality and many kinds of secondary products. The product is rich in flavor amino acids, flavor nucleotides, flavor peptides and so on. It can be widely used in pigs, poultry, ruminant, pets and other fields.

2. Application and function of GroPro in Dairy Cow

2.1 Improve rumen fermentation

Using high-yield dairy cow TMR feed (CP =16.16%, NDF=35.47%, ADF=20.12%) as fermentation substrate, 5kg/ tons of GroPro was added to cow concentrate feed, and the control group was set up for rumen fermentation in vitro. The results showed that compared with the control group, the addition of GroPro improved rumen fermentation in vitro, and significantly increased in vitro fermentation gas production and aerodynamic parameters such as IVDMD, GP48 and so on.

Note:IVDMD, in vitro dry matter disappearance; GP48, cumulative gas production at 48 h; A, asymptotic gas production.

The addition of GroPro increased the contents of microbial crude protein, propionic acid and total VFA in rumen fermentation broth.

Note: VFA, volatile fatty acids.

2.2 Increase milk yield of dairy cows

One hundred and twenty Holstein cows with high yield were selected in the experiment. The addition amount of GroPro was 10g / head / day (added by TMR diet). The experiment lasted for 20 days. The results showed that the average milk yield of dairy cows increased continuously after using GroPro, and the milk yield increased by 1.5L on the 5th day and 2.3L on the 20th day.

In conclusion, GroPro, the yeast hydrolysate marvel, emerges as a catalyst for revolutionizing dairy farming. Its remarkable ability to elevate in vitro fermentation gas production and key aerodynamic parameters like IVDMD and GP48 not only underscores its efficacy but also promises a tangible surge in the milk yield of our cherished dairy cows. With GroPro, we pave the way for a future where innovation meets productivity, ensuring healthier herds and a bountiful supply of premium milk.
